Many people enjoy the quilt piecing process but have neither the time, desire or energy to wrestle with quilting a large quilt top on their home sewing machine.
That is where I step in, and can complete that stage of the process for you. I use an A1 longarm with a 12' table, so that we are able to handle even a king size bedspread with ease.
You've spent time and effort creating your top and need it to be quilted with just as much care. I have a reputation for "knowing what the quilt needs" and am able to suggest designs and quilting treatments that enhance the pieced top rather than distract from it.
From the beginning I realized that freehand quilting was where my skills and passion lay. In my opinion it is the best way to compliment a quilt and allow for artistic freedom. It requires more skill than pantographs and computerized work but costs just the same.
My quilting has received many awards, both internationally and here in the US, and my work has also appeared in Quilters Newsletter Magazine and a couple of others.
